The very small bubbles created by the venturi injector, which are required for high mass transfer, are a vigorous mixing operation that accomplishes the dissolution of gas into water. O3 Degassing When using a venturi injector it is necessary to remove insoluble oxygen and ozone from the water. The contact (buffer) tank is a commonly used method, but gas discharge chambers and columns can also be used. Venturi Injector Selection The size of the Venturi injector is a function of the water flow through it. Water pressure also plays a role in determining the size of the venturi injector. When using a venturi injector, a device (s) shall be used to ensure that water does not flow from the venturi injector to the ozone generator. STATIC MIXER Static mixers are any static device designed solely to mix two flows.
